Club History

The Internet Stock Exchange Investment Club was an idea created by Peter Messina in 1997 as part of a class project at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Through the years, The Club has progressed, was revamped, modified, and now enjoys continued notoriety.




March 1997The organization name The Internet Stock Exchange Investment Club was registered in Waynesboro, Virginia

The domain name worldstockexchange.com was obtained by Peter Messina. Interestingly, this domain name was not Mr. Messina's original desired domain, but a fourth choice that was settled on.
October, 1998The Club was organized in the State of Maryland
